5712c4cd9d3ec79409734ce2d9efcdf2106f1e943fe4075aa8df52cf6ca6bbe7 Great service, reasonably priced, fast turn-around. They fixed my GE oven control board with new parts for those that were defective AND those that are known to fail. They also tested the oven touch panel to see if it was working properly. (It wasn't.) I'm a fan and highly recommend Fix Your Board.

source I paid a Sears Home Repair technician $149 to tell me the control board was bad on my GE wall oven. Was told the part was available, but after 3 weeks I found out it was not to be found anywhere. Luckily, I googled and found FixYourBoard. They repaired my control board quickly and at a very reasonable price. My oven works perfectly again. I am so happy with this company and I want everyone to know. It's great that things can be fixed and we don't need to trash them and buy something new. Love it ! Thanks.
abf441a4023fffaf9196ce1b2c0724db4d4173c41c2117babacd61c100ce1c9d So I have a in-wall oven unit that started having a F1 error, and constantly beep. A new comparable oven was $1200-$2000. Last Monday, I removed the control circuit board and sent it to fixyourboard.com because GE doesn't make them anymore.
I got it back today (Saturday), reinstalled it and all looks to be in good order now. Paid $186.19 for that service and am impressed with it thus far.
Thought I'd share because I'm wary of sending things out, and paying for it in advance, but this time it proved to be well worth it.
1320d7bbac6bb725086bfeb6fed80e449b8cbc00246d057ba03c8c9ad43fb73c GE built-in double oven JKP27WOP2 stopped working shortly after running a self-clean cycle. GE Service charged me $95 for a tech to come to the house and tell me the 20+ year old circuit board was a) likely damaged by the high heat clean cycle and b) part was NLA (no longer available) - nothing else he could do for me. He did write down the part number for me though so I went online, found Fix Your Board, removed the board myself and sent it in for repair. 2 weeks later I have the repaired board back, installed, and the ovens are both fully functional. I opted for shipping insurance both ways just because I don't think I could have found a replacement board if this one got lost in the mail. I also used my phone to take several photos of the wiring before I disconnected the board. Well worth the money to get the board repaired, thanks!

source Excellent service and response to my email inquiry. Megan at FixYourBoard was quick to reply to my email to see if they could repair my 20 year old GE ovens circuit board which kept throwing the F-1 fault. I shipped it out and received it back with in a week and the unit works 4.0. The folks at FixYourBoard saved me from buying a new oven when all it needed was a circuit board repaid. I highly recommend them and would use them again for my electronic repairs.

5931a539d9e8fe6346a1e184446de7435145900d7dae3cc10c7338e2a8364ce1 Hooray! FixYourBoard.com turned around my GE Oven Board in 3 biz days. $196 flat rate repair was a bargain compared to the cost and trouble of researching and custom fitting a new oven. My dead board was no longer available as a replacement part from G.E., so a new oven was our Plan B.
Repaired board perfectly restored oven operation. Excellent!
Friendly Megan answered all my questions by phone. Generous 2-year warranty on their work, plus FYB went above & beyond! My repair ticket reads, "Replaced additional components that have shown to be failure prone as a preventative measure."
Does repair service get any better than this?

source My GE Profile Double Wall Oven pronounced dead due to control board which is no longer being manufactured. Huge expense to replace the oven, this company fixed the board and returned it in good working order within a few days. Very grateful
a620126673b06bdb1e3d207de3e376c889e11e22c8788eb6e83b16cd346ba7e6 These Techs were life-savers for me!!! They fixed a control board for my Oven that GE stopped making and there are no after-market manufacturers. Sears wanted over $500 for a board but told me it was repaired and came with a 60 day warranty. Fix Your Board was able to repair my board in 34 days for $164.00 and gave me a long warranty. They even fixed some additional items that they know have gone bad on other boards but were still working on my board.
I just could have asked for any better service and the price was great compared to the alternatives. Service was friendly and loved the fact that they did a follow-up call. Board worked first time and has been working for 90 days since they repaired it.
I shopped all over the net and found 2 outer repair sources but these guys were the best all-round. I am so glad I used there services!

source searched the web and called every appliance repair store listed about a digital control board replacement part for my GE oven. Stumbled across this website about repairing my board. Through email exchange they indicated they could fix my problem. Nervous about shipping the Board and the money as requested, but everything worked out great. $160 and the repaired board works like a charm. The oven is kind of unique - 2 ovens so replacing would have been close to $2,000. A very good experience. Delivered everything they said they would and even did a little extra repair on the board on some pieces that were starting to wear.

source Over the summer the touchpad on my GE JT910B0A5BB 30" wall oven started to fail. By the end of October the only temperature that I could set it to was 444 because only the 4 worked. My local guy took a look and let me know that it was either the touchpad or the control board and he said I should replace both. Unfortunately the touch pad is no longer available and the control board runs $200+ or in other words buy a new oven.
I searched high and low for the touchpad and was coming to the conclusion that yes I would have to bite the big one and get a new oven.
Then I found FixYourBoard.com. I didn't see my model on their website so I shot them an email. I received a reply the same day letting me know they could likely help me. I sent them a description of my issue and they let me know about their fix, a picture of what it looked like and the cost and time frame.
I shipped the pad and board down to Texas and they called me and let me know it was received. They called to let me know they were beginning work on it. They called me to let me know it was done and ready to ship.
All I can say is wow! Great service! Great price! And I'm as good as new for a fraction of the cost of a new oven. As long as these guys are around I may never need to buy a new appliance! I told everyone I know about my experience including my local repair guy.
To Dan, Megan, and the rest of the crew, thanks for taking care of me, especially just before Thanksgiving! Kept me out of the doghouse and I saved a boatload of money!
50677d031962127f666e97abbd6be3c4d56f9b34f2749ab20c493c477e38f4d7 These guys have come through for me again. This is my third round of getting an appliance control board fixed here, two JennAir and now my GE double oven, which would not stay in the heating mode more than about 5 minutes, and then the timer and clock went wonky and couldn't be set.
They called me in about 3 days to confirm that my controller could be repaired, and gave me the price, but told me that the keypad on the control panel was also part of the problem. They quoted me on this additional work and sent me a number of photos to look over as the repair involved placing new keypads as an appliqué over the old panel. It took them about a week after I sent them the panel to do that repair, they called with the final amount and I received the fully assembled panel and controller two days after processing payment.
It doesn't look as nice as the original, but it should certainly be acceptable for most homeowners. The important point is that everything works the way it should, and I spent about $300 total as opposed to thousands for a new oven.
Fix Your Board is absolutely my first call on issues like this, and would recommend without hesitation. Their customer service is great.
083e1418de605f41f647102a48b8c20dbd4b3eb184ff69d192b5b9764cc1960a I found this company online after my 15 year old GE oven stopped working (F1 error code) and learned that GE no longer supplies the control board . The web site lists the repair cost for my unit at $160 so I printed out the shipping form and sent off my unit. Less than a week later, I get a phone call from FixYourBoard telling me that my unit was fixed and ready to ship and they only needed my credit card number to ship that day. They charged me what they said they would and the package arrived a couple of days later. I installed it yesterday and the oven works like new! Thank you FixYourBoard!
6a656301661ca10b76249ea60285831172aaacbbafa32dba64d1a9572db91cfd FixYourBoard fixed my digital controller for my twenty-year old GE double oven. They did it quickly, accurately and at exactly the price I was quoted over the phone.
Customer service was pleasant and contacted me a couple of times, as I had to send in additional components that I didn't originally believe required service.
These guys saved me from buying a new oven, at $3800 (not in the budget).
I would definitely use FixYourBoard again.

source The comment from I.S. is ridiculous, he sounds like a "piece of work".
I had a GE range that was 19 years old and the electronic control board failed, however, GE no longer made this part. I found this company on the Internet and called them and sent them this board and just received after approximately one week and reinstalled and my GE range is now working. They informed me the cost would be $160 and this is the amount they charged my credit card, definitely well worth the cost because I would have had to replace this range. This would not have made a lot of sense because there was nothing else wrong with this range.
Shame on GE, I will consider other companies when it is time to replace any of my applicances!

source This company saved us $2,000 or more. The appliance man told us our GE oven needed a new control board, and the part was no longer available from GE. That is, we needed a new oven/microwave combo, price $2-3,000, unless we could find the part on the Internet. I searched for over a week, including a week of ridiculous runaround from Searspartsdirect.com, The part could not be found. I then found out about companies that repair controllers--apparently our repairman did not know about this option. You take out the board, send it to them, they fix it and send it back. Price--about the same as a new part, $150 plus shipping. Of the companies I called, FixYourBoard.com was by far the friendliest and most helpful over the phone. I mailed the board Friday, Tuesday they phoned, said it was fixed, and only then asked to be paid. Thursday, it arrived with a detailed report itemizing the repairs and tests that were done. We had to call our repairman again to get all the wires plugged in right--for $20! Now good as new, in less than a week! This company is the best I've ever seen!
cbde98aef67d1e2586f4f0af49e845ee90eb3b964540af779e4c35a772fbf24d My GE oven would start to heat up and then cut itself off. It did it sporadically at first and eventually we could not get it to stay on. After finding out that no one offered a replacement board, we happened on to fixyourboard.
Knowing what I know now, I should have called and gotten an estimate, but I just packaged it up and mailed it off. About a week later, a nice young lady called to let me know The board was fixed and to get my credit card. I was expecting about 160 to be the cost, but I was very glad to get it for 190 as the option was a new stove which would have been about a $1000 more. A couple of days later, I received the board, installed it in about 10 minutes and have not had any problems.
This was a very easy fix and so easy that anyone could do it!
4e5bf91cce19d34ea0186bf67b220a28814b5a9eb05b9c96b03dc3b4c5399497 My oven didn't heat properly even after replacing the sensor. I wanted to buy a new oven but wifey wanted the 21 yr old GE oven to work. With a new board unavailable, I found more than one site that claims to fix the board, but this site looked more professional and responded to my e-mail promptly. My board was not listed so I asked what the cost was. I mailed the board on a Saturday and received it back the next Saturday. Works great. Happy wife makes a happy life.
e0f1499bc076a08f5ac1c3556241fcf8b1d23635b690ba644ef7311e1b2936d2 I am well pleased with the repair of the board of my GE slide-in oven. After showing a code that indicated the control board was bad, I contacted GE and searched on-line for another board. With the help of my son-in-law, we came across FixYourBoard and decided to give it a try. If it was repairable, that would be MUCH cheaper than a new oven. I shipped it to them on a Friday, they received it on Monday, and I got it back the following Saturday. The oven functions as it did when new and I couldn't ask for any faster service. I recommend their services for do-it-yourselfers and would use them again.
