ea697e40f0d0ceff12e0be50c27bfc49efd074ffc898bd5549b8f9c5a5297e72 My electric wall oven has the electronic control board problem that causes the bake element to not having heat. Some appliances repairman wanted me to buy a new wall oven. I did some research. I found on line 3 repairing businesses in the US and Canada. After talking with those businesses , I decided to send to FixYourBoard.com. First I was skeptical but I sent it anyway. It cost me $160 to repair it including returned shipping as well. After 5 days the control board returned in the box with well wrapped protection. I can not wait to install it . It took me about 30 minutes to install it because this is the first time to remove and install the control board and I have no knowledge of fixing this. It worked great. I was so excited. I would recommend this company to friends and families.

My oven was operating intermittently, and at times I even used the BBQ as a backup to finish a meal. When I checked for a replacement board I found that my control board had been discontinued by Whirlpool; it was no longer available on line, or at the Parts Houses. I did find a refurbished board on Amazon.com for over $400.00, and that's when I began researching a source to repair my board.
Although the Payment and Shipping information on their website is pretty straight forward, and they even provided their telephone number "more than once", I called them to verify my understanding of the process and confirm pricing, mine was a deal, only $150.00. The Lady who I spoke with the phone was professional, friendly, and very helpful. She provided an estimated turn around time, "usually 3 days" once it's in the shop, mine was less. I put a check in the box with my board, shipped it to FYB.com, they fixed it, cashed my check, and shipped my board back. It can't get much simpler than that.
I mailed my board USPS priority mail from California on 1/11/14, it arrived at their shop in Texas on 1/13/14, and I had it back and installed it on 1/16/14, and the best part is my oven works, and my wife is HAPPY.
I highly recommend FixYourBoard, and use their services in the future if needed.

source My oven went out a month before Thanksgiving and my husband who is very handy removed the circuit and sent it to FixYourBoard to get fixed. I cannot express the wonderful service we received from this company who went above and beyond the service required to fix the part plus other defects known to happen with this particular item. I highly recommend this company for their high standards and integrity since the price was exactly what was quoted. We have not had any problems since! Thank You! Thank You! Thank YOU!

I called them ahead of time that circuit board was coming. They received the card the next day, promptly repaired it, then sent back up to Ohio the same day. They did a great job. The gal there was very friendly. Highly recommend them. T. Brady
ec996a0bb1a4150c1cd9d8f21f405395b1b132d8ead361d9edbc23a8cab529e6 Whirlpool double oven stopped working just before Thanksgiving. Did a lot of internet searching and trying to find someone to come to my house and repair it. All symptoms led to control board. Found these guys on line, removed the board myself (and not the greatest handyman at all), got a very reasonable quote to fix and they did everything they said they would do for $150.00. Thought we were spending our Christmas money on a new oven but these guys saved us from that. Fully operational and one happy family here!

source Well, where do I start?
Our 20 year old double oven started to act up, and in researching the likelihood of having to replace an old unit ($2500...ouch!), I came across the fixyourboard.com website. The website itself is kind of plain, and what I read seemed to good to be true. But, considering the specter of having to spend thousands on a replacement, I decided to contact the company via email.
Meagan replied to my inquires right away, and when she didn't have the answer, I was promptly replied to by one of the technicians, Daniel. A couple of emails later, I had removed the oven control board and prepared to send it off. My wife and I agreed...what did we have to lose? As it turned out, we would have "lost" about $2300...minimum).
Well, about one week later, I received a call from Meagan who said the board was ready, and she was looking for a credit card number, so she could complete the transaction. Two relays were repaired, cracked solder joints were fixed, and preventative replacement of some components was also done. The cost? $196 as originally promised in the estimate..
A few days later, I received the board, which was well packaged along with the final test results. I promptly installed it, and the oven worked perfectly.
There's nothing really more to be said. I sent it, they fixed it, and now the oven works. I wouldn't expect less, and I could not ask for more.
Now, since I am a first time Yelper, I expect this review will get filtered due to Yelp's filtering software. And, I guess I can understand why this happens. But, if you find yourself staring at an oven replacement versus buying a new one...give this place a shot. I have not hesitated to tell coworkers and friends, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
c33c34fb3ed76bf63911cfa267876dd963bac1a676b343c25ae135825ff33957 We experienced an AC power failure during an oven self clean cycle. After manually releasing the locked oven door and cleaning the latch mechanism so it would not bind, the electronic control board remained inoperative. The F5 E0 error code was displayed and the oven lights were always on even though the upper and lower door switches worked correctly.
Fortunately, I discovered the FixYourBoard.com website. The information therein gave me confidence to give them a try. Although I could purchase a new electronic control board for $274, I decided to send my board in with a check for $160. They received my board on Thursday, December 12th. One week later I received the board back, repaired. I re-installed it, and the oven works like a charm!
The root causes identified were failures in temperature sensing, latch sensing, and latch drive circuits. Thank you all very much! We plan to have a merrier Christmas since our double oven works again.

source Great service, great $, great support. A lot better than forking out 2k+ for a new wall oven!
Merry Christmas to me!!!
8c412f130e65c287ab9aa59dc2813a9dee49abd5be2aef178f9b6dbb69ecbe74 Great service. My new 7 year old Whirlpool oven died after Edison power surge. They don't make the oven circut board anymore, so I was left having to spend 2k for a new oven. Google and found this site. It cost 190 plus 30 to ship and it was worth every penny. My oven now works again.
Great job! Highly recommend this company.
8925a9a05484c09d17b76e3e036c225ab27e4d0a0964e82cd04d017f1e7280d9 After the Whirlpool double oven giving the E6 F2 error and just not responding, it was time to fix or replace the oven. I had called a appliance repairman and he was going to charge in the neighborhood of $700 to repair it and gave no guarantee. After that I though it may just be better to replace the thing. Well after shopping around the new oven was going to run $1,700 + tax. After doing a little research on the web I stumbled upon FixYourBoard and the rest is history.
I sent my board off to them and had it back within a week's time. It's now installed and up and running again. Let's just say my wife has no excuse for not making her tasty sweet potato casserole for this Thanksgiving. :)
Total cost was $162 + my shipping cost of $9 to send it to them. That's a whole lot better than the other 2 alternatives + a 2 year warranty to boot! A big thank you to the FixYourBoard guys!!! I have already posted on my Facebook to let all my friends know as well. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!!
0bc196bc949002d28be359635763696cec1c18254ffab9c40d8bb670ab5018ff I was told about Fix Your Board by a local appliance dealer. I had a Whirlpool double oven that had a bad control board. An appliance repair company came out and quoted $600 to fix and the local repair wanted $450 just for the board. I removed the board and shipped it regular mail. On day 3 if received a call from Max and he said was ready. I paid $150 and that included shipping. Had the board back 2 days later. Installed it and my oven is working perfectly! Definitely recommend them!
a5160699cf71008056a563bb9f50c5054da6038dea89f7cd0888450a20820851 Delivered the service I expected. I found fixyourboard.com on the web after researching an F2 E6 error for a Whirlpool Gold GBD307PDQ3 control board. Unfortunately, the control boards are no longer available on the market, so either repairing the board or a new oven were the options. After researching BBB, local reviews in Texas, and finding some trade references for appliance repair shops subcontracting them for board repair - figured it was safe for a DIY. Turn around time was fast - probably the slowest part was the mail, but board I sent in was properly tagged, diagnosed, repaired and returned in good condition. A relatively easy install to return the unit to working service at a fraction of the cost for a new unit. Cost was what they listed on the website ($150 for my model)- only thing I could have asked for was fedex like status on the board, but it was so quick that really didn't matter (8 calendar days included 'in the mail'). As with any DIY appliance repair, recommend as much detail as possible when describing the symptoms that lead to the failure. I appreciate the skill and value this company is providing. Keep up the great work, our green planet thanks you!
